Acclaimed gourmet chef Simon Taxacher is opening Hotel Restaurant Spa Rosengarten  in Kirchberg in autumn 2010 - on the very same spot as his famous restaurant of that name.

Simon Taxacher’s name resonates with a grand message for gourmet critics and food lovers alike: culinary pleasures at their zenith. The 33-year old maître de cuisine numbers among the very best chefs that Austria has to offer; his many awards, such as 3 Gault Millau toques, uncountable points in respected gourmet guides and 2 Michelin stars, which in 2009  included the Rosengarten as the only restaurant in Tyrol, are accolades to his professional excellence. His culinary creations, which interpret French-Mediterranean cuisine ever anew, have become a cornerstone of sophisticated modern dining.

 “Restaurant Rosengarten is dedicated to the joys of living. That begins, of course, in the kitchen, extends to table culture, to flawless presentation of wondrous dishes and reaches all the way to interior design. Ambience plays an key role in the overall experience, it has to be perfect, right down to the last detail,” says the Kirchberg chef. It goes without saying that a creator of this quality uses only the very best of ingredients and raw materials. With his latest project - a brand new Hotel Rosengarten at the same location in Kirchberg - he is not only translating his quality standards to an exclusive hotel, but also returning to his roots at the same time. Just after he completed his schooling, he launched his career in the metier of hotel service, before ultimately discovering the kitchen as his true calling.
