Amelia by Paulo Airaudo is an exclusive contemporary restaurant that offers an intimate atmosphere in the coastal city of Donostia, next to La Concha Beach. Diners can eat at the bar for 10 people, where you can watch the chefs at work in the open kitchen, or at one of the three available tables. Amelia's goal is for you to have a unique dining experience, and to that end, he prepares food from the finest seasonal foods with innovative culinary techniques. Chef Paulo Airaudo offers a unique tasting menu, with an international flavor that combines with Basque cuisine with influences from Argentina, Italy and Japan.

Restaurant Amelia is run by Argentinian-born chef Paulo Airaudo. Paulo was trained in European star restaurants like Arzak in San Sebastian, The Fat Duck in London, and Magnolia in Italy. He opened his first restaurant, Amelia, in 2017, in the city where he once started his European adventure, San Sebastián. But that’s not all: Paulo also owns 2-Michelin-starred restaurant Da Terra in London, and 3 restaurants in Hong Kong: Amelia, Da Filippo, and Haku.

In collaboration with his team, Paulo creates new dishes every day which are internationally inspired. However, he does not neglect his roots, inherited from his grandparents in the kitchen when he was young. He always works with the best products that he finds at the local San Sebastián market. At this 1-Michelin-starred restaurant, the key to progress is innovation. Keeping the best of gourmet cuisine and its culinary heritage in mind, chef Airaudo aims to create unexpected, unique, and captivating experiences. To create innovative dishes for a new era, high-quality regional products and state-of-the-art techniques are used. The winery has 150 different wines from Italy, France, Spain, and America. Amelia restaurant offers you the option of trying 90% of their wine by the glass, so you may sample as many wines as possible.

Restaurant Amelia is situated inside Hotel Villa Favorita, located in the Bay of La Concha. The restaurant has a modern open kitchen where you can appreciate all the hard work and expertise performed by the chefs. The restaurant is located in San Sebastián, a resort town on the Bay of Biscay in Spain’s mountainous Basque Country.
