The Juan Carlos Ferrando restaurant is located on the pedestrian street María Teresa Gil de Gárate de Logroño (La Rioja). The experience of entering can be called semi-clandestine. You open a steel door, without escaping, that does not give clues of where it can take you and you access inside of the premises, not very large, inspiring cities such as Lisbon or Oporto. Its facades are of different textures: ceramics, graffiti, posters and lamps. Juan Carlos Ferrando greets you personally with whom you have a small conversation before you sit down at the table. Ferrando likes to meet clients one on one.

The cooking of Juan Carlos Ferrando is traditional and innovative in equal parts. With Rioja, Basque and French inspiration with an excellent seasonal product. The result is a seemingly simple kitchen, with 3 or 4 ingredients per dish treated with an impeccable technique. A cooking where you see and know what you eat. No need for explanations.
For those who enjoy gastronomy, the chef offers the option of eating near him. A space that will occupy between 2 and 6 people. There is no menu, that depends on what Ferrando buy that day. Between 6, 8 or 10 different dishes. The chefs themselves serve customers and produce communication between them. You can stop, see how it is cooked, the plating ... everything, without losing the main idea that you have come to eat.
