In 2021 Croatia has become richer for 2 new members: konoba Zijavica and restaurant Navis. Both are coming from a wonderful Kvarner region, and both are focusing on the local and seasonal ingredients.
KONOBA ZIJAVICA is the result of 40 years long family business - fishing - being upgraded to next level: cooking and serving honest, fresh food. Zijavica is run by spouses Stiven and Tea Vunić. Terrace, situated just a few inches above one of the most beautiful beaches of Kvarner, is a truly special place, perfect for experiencing small masterpieces of the Kvarner and Istrian cuisine. Interior is the small and cozy tavern is offering an extremely harmonious blend of romantic past and exciting challenges of today. The discreet touch of wood and stone bathed in pastel colors creates the impression of domestic and very pleasant atmosphere.
