A talented chef with a passion for classic haute cuisine
Andreas Laux was born in 1987. The young chef learned the fundamentals of cooking from Michelin star chef Bernd Werner in Gernsbach. Later, he assisted Werner in his restaurant’s kitchen at Schloss Eberstein. Climbing the career ladder, Andreas then worked as chef (de partie) at Hotel & Restaurant Kronenschlösschen (Eltville am Rhein), the Gästehaus Klaus Erfort (Saarbrücken), and Klaus Erfort’s Food-Quartier (also in Saarbrücken). Chef Andreas graduated as a master chef at the Hotel Management School in Heidelberg. In 2015, he returned to Schloss Eberstein and Werners Restaurant where he now works side-by-side with Bernd Werner as a chef.
The truth is on the plate.
