Anthony Raffo born in Portsmouth has been in the industry for over 16 years, working in some of the uk and Channel Islands top establishments most notably Michelin starred Pied a terre and Texture as well as Stocks Hotel. Anthony is now the head chef of Anglo Restaurant since taking over the kitchen Anthony has renovated the restaurant to reflex his style of modern British cooking. In just two short years he has maintained Anglos three rosettes and now have the restaurant ranked 21 in the uk. His love of British seasonal produce is showcased on his interesting and inventive menus seeing humble British grown produce elevated with the magic of pickling and fermentation. Also a keen forager he uses ingredients he’s collected himself to offer something different to his guests.

Contemporary British dining room Anglo is owned by chef Mark Jarvis and is run by head chef Anthony Raffo and manager Marie Danzanvilliers. Anglo restaurant offers a tasting menu both for lunch and dinner from Tuesday to Saturday. Their excellent menu emphasizes simple, refined dishes. For weekday lunches where there may not be enough time to enjoy the full tasting menu, they offer a three-course option.
