As a child, Jeroen’s dream job was to work for the fire brigade. But as he became older he realized he wanted to open a catering business. He worked his way up from runner to bartender, from bartender to manager in an eatery, and then made the step to maître in a fine-dining restaurant. It was here that he discovered his love of wines, which he now uses as a wine expert at restaurant Hunker.
