Lucas Ramstein

After his study in Electrical Engineering, chef Lucas Ramstein changed his mind about his career path. Following in his father's footsteps, he took on an apprenticeship in Alsace. Longing for refining his cooking skills abroad, Lucas traveled to Denmark. Here, he worked with star chef Christian Bind. Soon additional culinary experiences in other top restaurants followed. Such as the prestigious Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d'Antibes, where Lucas worked alongside chef Arnaud Poëtte. With a backpack full of new cooking skills, the young chef returned to his beloved Alsace – and took over his family’s restaurant, Auberge Ramstein, in 2014.
