Restaurant 't Pakhuus is located on one of the most beautiful places on the island, with a fantastic view over the Oudeschild harbour. History and present come together in the beautiful grain warehouse dating from 1902. The still intact beam construction even dates from +/- 1680. According to tradition, the property has been in the Zaanstreek for several centuries before it came to Texel and was rebuilt there.

Fishing lovers can bask in 't Pakhuus; The menu offers a variety of fresh fish and seafood, mostly from the North and the Wadden Sea. Outright spectacular is the fruit de mer, which is served with dry ice for an extra special effect. Also the meat eaters won’t be forgotten: the restaurant always offers, depending on the season, a selection of delicious meat dishes such as the famous Texel lamb.
Fish restaurant 't Pakhuus is suitable for groups from 8 up to 90 people, but also wedding in ‘t Pakhuus are possible.
Regularly, a special situation occurs in the port of Oudeschild: high water. Under the influence of spring tide and a fierce Northwest storm, 't Pakhuus is surrounded by water. Every now and then, ‘t Pakhuus organizes a "high-water dinner", where you see the water rise and fall during dinner: a unique experience!
‘t Pakhuus is situated at the fishing port in Oudeschild. In the 17th century this village had international significance thanks to the Reason of Texel. From there, many VOC ships left. The village then experienced a glory, partly because the ships stocked provisions in Texel.
