Restaurant Eden in Valkenswaard is the best of chef Herman Cooijmans and host Robin Groos. For a long time they worked together at Hostellerie Vangaelen in Heeze. They went their separate ways and now realized a joint hospitality dream in their province.

"I don't want to be predictable". Chef Herman Cooijmans goes for unexpected and exciting combinations at Restaurant Eden. But refined and with products of the best quality.
Herman worked for a long time with Robin Groos at Hostellerie Vangaelen in Heeze, but then opts for the Michelin-awarded kitchens of Wollerich in Sint-Oedenrode and De Treeswijkhoeve in Waalre. In 2017, as chef of Restaurant Juliana in Valkenburg, he received a Bib Gourmand, the award for an excellent ratio between price and quality.
Robin has a passion for wines and is now an aspiring vinologist. "As a little boy I was always busy with flavors and I wanted to become a chef. In the end my interest changed more into wine and that is why I specialized at the Wine Academy after my culinary education. Wine is my passion and I would like to share it with our guests. "
