The building which houses Hubert Wallner’s restaurant is dominated by clear lines featuring wood and glass. With its magical waterfront location, it is one of the most fashionable locations on Lake Wörthersee. The large terrace is a summertime hot spot, of course, where diners feel as if they are floating right above the water, while simultaneously enjoying the shade from the trees – it simply doesn’t get more picturesque than this!
But inside, too, in the elegantly furnished dining rooms, you never lose that connection with the lake; crystal chandeliers conjure up an atmosphere in the evening that is marvellously evocative. One decor detail is an antique tile stove, perfect for those cosy winter evenings.

Sommelier: Andreas Katona
With his recent “three toque” rating, Hubert Wallner has ascended into the elite league of Austria’s top chefs. Inspired by the Alpine region between lake and sea, his cuisine captivates with the lightness of his dishes. His sensitive creations are borne by the combination of high-quality staples and extraordinary ideas. Whether domestic fish such as Wörthersee whitefish or mussels from the Adriatic, whether crawfish, Carinthian meat or a pure vegetable menu, his dishes always embody gentle, yet profound notes and an exquisite Alps-Adriatic experience.
Ines Hofstadler, Sommelière of the Year 2015, is always willing to accept new challenges when it comes to her companion wines. Her extensive wine selection isn’t just aimed at the classic palate; it is also open to wines from the natural and orange spectrum. Diversity from Austria, exciting representatives of neighbouring countries including Slovenia, Croatia and Switzerland, a wealth of Champagnes, and magnificent products from international winegrowing regions – sources of pure joy for each and every wine lover.
Alcohol-free enjoyment is also provided with an exquisite selection of fruit juices from South Tyrol as well as homemade lemonades.
