Restaurant Anona

Restaurant Anona is where gastronomy meets sustainability. With respect for the planet’s resources, owner and head chef Thibaut Spiwack creates innovative French dishes with local and seasonal products. But the restaurant’s eco-friendly approach is also reflected in the way these dishes are prepared: with an eye for waste reduction, water consumption limitation, and green electricity. The restaurant is named after the obscure Annona plant, which is used for gastronomic, medical, and pharmaceutical purposes. Likewise, the talented chef and his extremely skilled kitchen team wonderfully showcase their love of lesser-known ingredients. This results in an exciting cuisine that celebrates nature and new flavours. At Anona you can enjoy your lunch or dinner in a modern interior, elegantly furnished with accents of natural wood, stone, and copper. You can take place in the dining room, at the bar or on the lovely terrace.

Anona’s cuisine

Chef Thibaut Spiwack is concerned with environmental issues and ecology. He puts a lot of energy into developing gourmet dishes that are delicious yet responsibly made, using local and seasonal products. His bold and creative choices result in modern French cuisine with international flavours. A few house's specialties are shredded beef and smoked eel with umeshu smoked broth; and lavender pea purée, with an emulsion and veil of pods, tito pea sorbet and pea poetry. In addition, chef Thibaut serves entirely homemade products, such as organic breads, fresh juices, beers and lemonade from Paris. At restaurant Anona, the menu is inclusive: whether you’re a meat-eater or a vegan, you’ll surely find something of your liking.

Restaurant Anona lies in the northwest of Paris. In this bustling metropolis, there’s an endless array of things to see and do. Some popular sights in the restaurant’s area include Cité des Fleurs, Square des Batignolles, and Cinéma des Cinéastes. Other places that are worth seeing: Parc Monceau (5 minutes away), Place de Clichy, the Montmartre district, Saint-Lazare station, and of course Place Pigalle with the world-famous Moulin Rouge.
