Restaurant Lanterna Verde serves the finest regional Italian cuisine in the Lombardy area. Favourites on the menu include the excellent trout tartare with lemon ricotta, capers, and watercress. And those with a sweet tooth should not miss out on the mouth-watering kiwi fruit mousse with mascarpone ice cream, crunchy strawberries, opaline and black sesame. Next to being awarded a coveted Michelin star, the restaurant also gained a green Michelin star for its outstanding sustainable efforts. The cozy inn even produces its own electricity. In addition to supplying water for their traditional trout farm, their own water filtering system is connected to a penstock to generate electricity for the restaurant’s own use.
