Zum Blumentritt’s cuisine
At Zum Blumentritt restaurant you won’t find any lobster. Instead, you’re pampered with the best local produce: pikeperch, trout, and wild game from the surrounding forests. Drawing on handed-down recipes, head chef Ulli Hollerer-Reichl manages to create refined dishes by using the simplest ingredients, such as potatoes. For her, it’s simply all about the quality. Out of all of Ulli’s creations, Zum Blumentritt’s goose-liver blood sausage is one of the diners’ favourites. Luckily, it keeps popping up on the restaurant’s menu.

Nestled among the Göller and Gippel, the St. Aegyd am Neuwalde area offers various hiking trails. In the town’s Nordic Centre you can find idyllic cross-country ski trails as high as 1,000 meters above sea level and for all abilities. The Annaberg ski area is also nearby.
