Rantrée restaurant is located in the heart of Maastricht on the Maasboulevard. The interior gives a warm feeling, where space is preserved. In the restaurant kitchen is partially open, allowing guests to watch it. With us you can enjoy lunch and dinner with innovative, high quality and creative cuisine and carefully selected wines are a unique combination. Each month a new menu is made with passion and love for the profession by Chef Ralph Herman and sommelier Jennifer Silvius ensures that the wines connect seamlessly. We hope to not only surprise with wine and food and excite you but also inspire you. We want you to experience some memorable gastronomy moments.

Jennifer Silvius & Ralph Hermans

Jeune Restaurateur

After graduating from the hotel school, Ralph Hermans is hired by chef Van Eerd at The Harbour Club. After The Harbour Club, he gains experience with chef Ralf Berendsen of Kasteel Wittem. With the trust of Van Eerd and through learning the hard way from Berendsen, he is ready for the next step in his career and becomes sous-chef at Restaurant l'Atelier in Gulpen. Hermans works on his CV and continues with Toine Hermsen at the Belgian Michelin-starred restaurant Kristalijn. In 2014, he and his partner Jennifer Silvius open Restaurant Rantrée in Maastricht and in 2018 Rantrée moves to their current location; the panoramic restaurant on the 8th floor of the Dormio Resort Hotel on the Dousberg, a new culinary highlight!
