A little alpine republic in the far north: The restaurant in the Levantehaus is a popular address for all those who want to enjoy fine Austrian cuisine with a modern and refined interpretation. Alexander Tschebull's specialities include not only the classic Wiener Schnitzel, Tafelspitz and Kaiserschmarrn, but also innovative new creations, which in terms of taste bridge the gap between the Mediterranean regions and his homeland.

Guests of the restaurant in the Levantehaus on the famous Mönckebergstraße in Hamburg have the choice between restaurant, bar and beisl. Beisl? Yes, that's right. Alexander Tschebull is Viennese and offers the Hamburgers the Austrian answer to the French bistro with his Beisl. The fine Alpine cuisine is exquisite in all three locations of the Levantehaus. Tschebull and his wife realised their dream of modern Austrian cuisine in a contemporary design with Restaurant Tschebull.
In a beautiful Kontorhaus in the middle of the old town, Alexander Tschebull cultivates a piece of his Austrian homeland. Classics such as Wiener Schnitzel, Salzburger Nockerl and Kaiserschmarrn are a must. But also sophisticated dessert creations such as elderberry soup with vanilla snow, pears & honey jelly or torrone cream on champagne citrus fruit soup with ricotta crunchy cannelloni & clementine sorbet convince and inspire his guests. And not just them. The Gault Millau calls him "the best Austrian of Hamburg". Well then: "An Guadn!"
Hamburg is the "bridge city" of Germany - with 2500 bridges it is the top city in Europe. And of course Germany's port city in general: ships from all over the world arrive daily in the 1200-year-old Hanseatic city. Another main attraction for tourists is the notorious Reeperbahn, world-famous as an entertainment district. But Hamburg is also green. In winter, Hamburg is the perfect destination for culture lovers and can offer them opera, the National Theatre and the successful musicals of Andrew Lloyd Webber "Cats" and the "Phantom of the Opera". For those who want to get out of the city, the North Sea and the beautiful "Alte Land", Germany's largest orchard, are just around the corner.
