The JRE-Akademie combines a three-year chef's training with an additional qualification at a JRE Business. In addition to the regular vocational school classes, at the provincial vocational school, you also receive special, goal-oriented patronage with 60 training sessions per year from the DEHOGA Akademie. You complete this curriculum in supplementary class-time, a special daytime seminar and an online course. At the end of the training, you undergo the classic Chamber of Industry and Commerce examination with a written part and oral part. Added to this is the specially developed practical JRE Supplementary Test. At the end, there is a qualification reception ceremony at the spectacular Mercedes Benz Museum in Stuttgart.

The JRE-Akademie is located in Bad Überkingen in the Swabian Jura. Surrounded by the picturesque landscape of the Upper Fils River, you will find an ideal learning environment. The dormitory block for the Akademie offers accommodations in 2-to-4 bedrooms with full board. An extensive leisure time offer, with outdoor or indoor sport, as well as workout rooms, Wii stations, a billiard hall and dormitory cinema, don't leave time for boredom. The classroom portion is given at the vocational school, whist the practical training is done at the Gastro-Lernwelt area of the DEHOGA Akademie. It offers four seminar rooms with multimedia display for theoretical instruction, but above all, there is also joining in and a show kitchen, a learning bar and a restaurant – all perfectly furnished and equipped, of course. So the best conditions for realistic learning.
The training to be an Enjoyment Craftsman, ending as a Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) Qualified Cook, at the JRE-Akademie covers board and lodging on the JRE Campus, as well as the additional qualification in 60 teaching units. It costs 2,575.- € for the 1st and 2nd year, and 2,745.- € in the 3rd year. The extended training up to being an IHK chef and IHK instructor over three years likewise includes the accommodations and teaching units, not including examination fees. For this, without overnight stay, the amount due is 1,750.- € , with overnight stay this is 2,550.- €. Aside from the official assistance for vocational training from the Federal Students' Assistance Act (BAFöG, the Jeunes Restaurateurs also offer support): The top trainee receives a stipend of over 5,000.- €, paid to a higher education account. In addition to this, an assistance of 500.- € monthly can be applied for with the sponsoring association of the JRE-Genuss-Akademie.
