Restaurant Schloss Eberstein is located in a beautifully restored former knight’s castle, which dates back to the thirteenth century. In the restaurant guests can expect wine from the hotel's own vineyard and an ambitious gourmet cuisine. Andreas Laux, born in 1987, learned his profession from star chef Bernd Werner in Gernsbach. Later, as Commis de Cuisine, he worked for the first time in the Restaurant Schloss Eberstein in Gernsbach. This was followed by positions as Chef de Partie at the Hotel & Restaurant Kronenschlösschen in Eltville am Rhein and at the Gästehaus Klaus Erfort in Saarbrücken, later as Chef in the Food Quarter of Klaus Erfort, also in Saarbücken. After graduating as a master chef at the Hotel Management School in Heidelberg, Andreas Laux returned to Gernsbach and became chef at Schloss Eberstein in the Black Forest in 2015.

High above the roofs of the idyllic Germsbach in the Black Forest, the lavishly renovated and stylishly furnished Schloss Eberstein with its own vineyard is enthroned. The host family Werner offers its guests two restaurants - for gourmets and lovers of regional specialities - and cosy hotel rooms. Chef Andreas Laux spoils the guests with Baden-Francophil cuisine.
Where Baden shows its most beautiful side, in the romantic Murg valley, you will find Schloss Eberstein. In the immediate vicinity of the famous spa and casino town of Baden-Baden, a few minutes by car from the A5 motorway (Rastatt exit), Schloss Eberstein towers high above the rooftops of Gernsbach. Picturesquely situated, it combines luxurious living comfort and Baden hospitality. A total of 14 hotel rooms are available, including 9 double rooms, 3 junior suites and 2 suites. All rooms are individually furnished in the Schlossstiel style.
