Viktoria and Kristin Fuchs are the sixth generation to provide a fresh wind and "fuchsteufelswilde" stories and discoveries in the Hotel & Restaurant Spielweg in the romantic Münstertal valley in the Black Forest. The hotel offers rooms and suites for every taste, the restaurant presents culinary arts that bear witness to a young, ambitious signature. In addition to sleeping and eating well, guests can enjoy the pool by the torrent and the indoor pool, wellness and sauna or the sun terrace, but also take part in cooking courses or kitchen parties. The outdoor barrel sauna in the Nature Spa is the hotel's newest attraction. Conferences take place in a new seminar room with all-round catering.

Viktoria Fuchs

Jeune Restaurateur

Viktoria Fuchs got to know the hotel business from childhood: her mother, the hotel manager Sabine Fuchs and her father, the hotelier and chef Karl-Josef Fuchs, own the Spielweg Romantik Hotel in Münstertal in the Black Forest. The now 28-year-old trained as a cook in the Restaurant Hirschen, completed internships in the Restaurant Hotel Adler, in the Restaurant Poletto and in the Restaurant Dorint Sölringhof. As a young chef, she stopped again at Restaurant Hirschen and continued her culinary career at Restaurant Le Canard in Hamburg and Landhaus St. Urban in Naurath-Wald. After two years as Chef de Partie at luce d'oro in Hotel Schloss Elmau, she returned to her parents' business in 2016. "I see myself as a young creative savage whose cuisine is fun and never gets boring."

Cucina

Hospitality has been loved and lived by the Fuchs family for generations in the Hotel & Restaurant Spielweg. In the historic inns with their Black Forest tiled stoves, wall panelling and coffered ceilings, they proudly serve a creative, regional cuisine, cleverly combined with Asian flavours and adapted to the respective seasons. Viktoria Fuchs cooks here with passion and the support of Johannes Schneider. Every day, the Spielweg kitchen crew creates new surprises and delicacies that melt in your mouth. The cooking is mainly done with regional and in-house products from the Southern Black Forest Nature Park.

The Neckar River divides the "Ländle" into the Black Forest and the Swabian Alb. Worthwhile excursion destinations in Baden-Württemberg are Tübingen with its medieval townscape, but also Freiburg with the famous "Bächle", the narrow watercourses in the alleys of the old town. Lake Constance - the "Swabian Sea" - is popular with cyclists, sailors and hikers. On the southern shore lies the old border and university town of Constance, in the middle of which is the garden and fruit-growing island of Reichenau and the flower island of Mainau. Not to forget: The beautiful Alsace with the romantic Colmar, the university town of Heidelberg with its many baroque red sandstone houses and of course Stuttgart with the "Old" and "New Castle" and the New State Gallery.
