On April 28 and 29 Liège was the bustling culinary centre on the occasion of the 16th International JRE Congress 2019. More than 300 European top chefs and restaurant owners gathered to share their "Never-ending Passion" for gastronomy. At the JRE Award Ceremony six members received a prize for their special qualities and craftsmanship.
Every two years the young and talented chefs and hosts of the JRE-family meet to share their passion for gastronomy. This year Belgium had to honour to host and organize this major international event.
The afternoon was continued with a food market in the park of La Boverie, where a series of leading producers presented a range of top quality products and ingredients.
