Classic French flavor combinations are the starting point, translated into this time. I like to work and as much as possible with Dutch ingredients, every season there will be another offer. I am looking for fair quality products, which you can find at small farmers and producers with their hearts in the right place. These are products which we can be proud of. Therefore, we are as close as possible to the origin of the products we work with. Regional and biological are the magic words. I know exactly where our products come from and have personal contact with my vendors. We sow and maintain our own herb for example, which are also edible flowers. Basiliek restaurant has its own cookingschool. Anyone who wants to cook at star level, I receive on Sunday mornings in my kitchen. I share the tricks of the trade and talk about my culinary philosophy. And of course we are going to work. In order to give everyone plenty of time and attention a cooking class has maximum of twelve participants. You can sign up individually or in groups. We start at 10:00. Together we will prepare a four-course star lunch, you can try with your partner and / or friends while enjoying a glass of wine and then approve.
