Chef Franz Feckl started his impressive career in gastronomy with his training at the Jägerhof in Mühldorf am Inn. Next, he trained at multiple renowned restaurants with many elite chefs, including chef Ernesto Schlegel (Du Theater, Bern) and chefs Eckart Witzigmann and Heinz Winkler (Tantris, Munich). After his master craftsman's examination, Franz worked at the Hotel Walters Hof (Kampen, Sylt) and Goldschmieding (Castrop-Rauxel). Climbing even further up the career ladder, he became the owner and head chef at Schloss Höfingen (Leonberg) in 1985. Here, his cooking skills were awarded a Michelin star. Franz has been Landhaus Feckl’s owner and head chef since 2000, where his cuisine has also been honoured with one Michelin star.
