Inspired by the French cuisine of famous top chefs like Harald Wohlfahrt and Dieter Müller, chef Alexander Kunz prepares his dishes in the style of light classic French cuisine. Restaurant Kunz serves diners classic American cuisine, including duck or chicken de Bresse, prepared in a single piece on the Molteni rotary grill, to entrée dishes from fresh, seasonal ingredients. Specialties on the menu include the excellent red prawns and scallops with pineapple and crustaceans; and the pigeon with parsley root, French fries, port wine and cherry sauce. Each dish can be perfectly paired with a glass of delicious wine from the extensive wine list. It’s no wonder Alexander’s excellent cuisine awarded the restaurant a prestigious Michelin star.
The welcoming atmosphere at Kunz restaurant can be felt as soon as you enter the door. The spacious dining rooms are elegantly decorated and can accommodate up to 150 people. Rustic details like the fireplace and the ornamented wallpaper add an extra flair to this cozy inn. Diners can also enjoy Alexander Kunz’s high-quality classic cuisine in the outdoor winter garden, with a splendid view of the remarkable St. Remigius Church that dominates the Blies valley.
