On Texel, 't Pakhuus is the only specialized fish restaurant, offering a wide array of fresh sea delicacies. Most of it is caught locally in the Wadden Sea and the North Sea. Recommended are the opulent fruits de mer platter and the 5-, 7-, and 9-course menus.

t Pakhuus is a great place for fish lovers. The menu offers a wide selection of fresh fish and seafood from the North Sea and the Wadden Sea. Spectacular is the fruit de mer, which is served with dry ice to give it an extra special touch. The meat-eaters won’t be disappointed either: the restaurant always offers a selection of beautiful seasonal meat dishes such as the famous Texel lamb.
Oudeschild surroundings
Restaurant 't Pakhuus is located in the fishing port of Oudeschild. The Oudeschild port faces a special situation on regular occasions: high tide. The restaurant then becomes completely surrounded by water under the influence of a fresh northwest storm and a raging spring tide. During these times, ‘t Pakhuus organizes a special "high-water dinner", where you can see the water rise and fall during dinner: a truly exceptional experience! Right across from the restaurant you will find Museum Kaap Skil, which shows interesting artifacts from the island and tells you the story of its rich history.
