Restaurant Das Bootshaus is housed inside Hotel Papa Rhein. This establishment is located in the town of Bingen am Rhein, in the region of Rhine-Hesse (also known as Rhenish Hesse). Here, you’ll find an array of historic and architectural landmarks. Such as castles (Burg Klopp) and cathedrals (St. Rochuskapelle and Basilika St. Martin). Situated directly on the river banks of the Rhine, this chic maritime retreat offers comfortable suites and rooms (or “bunks'' as they call it themselves). The rooms are modernly furnished with natural wood and a stylish colour palette of soft greens, grays and blues – perfectly matching the vista of the river and lush vineyards. Some of the rooms face the winter harbor, while others face the iconic Mouse Tower (Mäuseturm) or the floodplain of the Rhine. Sometimes you can even spot sailors cruising on the horizon.
