The cuisine at restaurant Cèpes can be described as classical French with Mediterranean, Asian and local influences. The menu features delicious, creative dishes that highlight the Veluwe region. Adventurous diners can choose a surprise menu with fish, meat, vegetarian or vegan dishes. There’s also a daily changing 4-course menu. For this, the kitchen team selects the best local and seasonal products that the Veluwe region has to offer. Favourites on the menu include Veluwe mallard duck with corn, kohlrabi, pumpkin seed, pepper and ginger, or local venison with Jerusalem artichoke, red cabbage, pommes duchesse and Jägermeister sauce. Each dish can be perfectly paired with an excellent glass of wine from the extensive wine list.

Hotel de Sterrenberg and restaurant Cèpes are beautifully situated on the edge of the Hoge Veluwe National Park. The nature reserve is immediately accessible from the corner of the street. There are many walking and cycling routes that allow you to enjoy the beautiful landscape. Art lovers will be pleased to explore the nearby Kröller-Müller Museum, which has a large Van Gogh collection as well as a modern art outdoor collection. The advantage is that it is a lot quieter here than at the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. The Veluwe has it all: peace and quiet, space, and the opportunity to be active, relax, and enjoy art and culture.
