Contemporary Indian cuisine
Restaurant Shiuli places community and health at the heart of its business. The food story, India Unplugged, is an anthology of Indian culture. Michelin-starred chef Alfred Prasad conjures up delicious kabab salad bowls, chaats, succulent grills, as well as healthy plant-based dishes. The tasting menu offers diners a selection of Shiuli’s signature dishes. Each dish can be paired with an excellent glass of wine, selected from the drinks menu curated by in-house sommelier Jack Lewens. The island bar, the centerpiece of the dining room, offers an array of carefully selected wines, artisan gins, fun cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages.
Restaurant Shiuli is situated along the river Thames in Twickenham, London. The town is home to the Rugby Football Union, with thousands of spectators visiting Twickenham Stadium each year. Several 18th-century riverside buildings and pleasure grounds have survived intact in this historic area. Interesting sights in the area include the historic Strawberry Hill House, the World Rugby Museum, and stunning Royal Botanic Gardens. More cultural highlights can be found in central London, which can be easily reached by public transport.
A restaurant is more than a great meal or experience. As a new food business, we are an integral part of a food chain, impacting people and our environment, and we want to create our new eco-system with a conscience.
