Barbara Schlachter-Ebert is the 3 season cook. In the first of her three volumes, "Meine drei Allgäuer Jahreszeiten" ("My Three Allgäu Seasons"), the passionate top chef of the Allgäu presents dishes that can be enjoyed especially from December to the beginning of summer. And these menus also characterise her young and fresh cuisine in the restaurant "Schlossanger Alp" at the foot of the Falkenstein. Their credo: "Here on the alp you can taste 'nature'." Not only her down-to-earth preparations and typical dishes are absolutely natural, but also her fine gourmet arrangements rich in finesse.

When preparing our menus, we attach great importance to exact cooking points, the focus is always on the taste of the product and the perfect craftsmanship of the work steps. In short: filigree manual work, cleverly staged. Our extensive wine concept with about 300 different wines contains fine wines from Germany, France, Austria and Italy. Our Sommelière Maitre Karin Maetschke will be happy to advise you and reveal the secrets of genuine wine enjoyment.

Small walled towns with historical townscapes

Former kingdom, today Free State: Bavaria offers many reasons to love it: the hearty cuisine, the beer, the good Franconian wine, its dialect, the Bavarian way of life, the beautiful landscape before the Alps.
