A Croatian chef of the new generation, Marko Gajski graduated as an IT engineer and developed a passionate interest in food after college. Within a few years, he was appointed head chef at DiVino Restaurant in Hvar. Next, he worked at Perivoj Restaurant in Split, Gauthier Soho in London, Bar Boulud at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park Hotel, and Alain Ducasse at the Dorchester Hotel.

LD Restaurant offers Mediterranean cuisine and seasonal menus. With his culinary talents, chef Maro Gajski creates modern dishes that turn ordinary moments into special celebrations. Marko’s kitchen team always works imaginatively to create extraordinary dishes out of the catch of the day, wild island plants and hand-picked seasonal delicacies from the central Dalmatian archipelago. Diners can choose between a chef’s tasting menu and an à la carte menu. Favourites on the menu include foie gras ganache with pistachio, pickled apples and raspberry, and those with a sweet tooth will love the chocolate creme with whipped cream, orange, and almonds. Each dish can be perfectly paired with an excellent glass of wine, carefully selected by the in-house sommelier.

A bespoke gastronomic experience does not just include LD Restaurant's menu, but also includes visits to local food and wine producers and various wine and food tastings. LD Palace offers guests the opportunity to sail along the coast of the picturesque Korčula archipelago. A range of activities and visits can be arranged to guests’ wishes.

Celebrating the marriage between old and new, this exclusive accommodation has five unique and spacious suites, a Michelin-starred restaurant and a spa.The suites were designed by an Asian-Croatian team of architects and interior designers and are inspired by Korčula’s famous resident, Marco Polo. His travels along the Silk Road are rumoured to have started from this beautiful island. Chef’s tasting menu (6-course dinner + 6 wines)

LD Restaurant offers a multiple course food experience inspired by head chef Marko Gajsk’s favourite dishes from the à la carte and tasting menus. Personally served by the head chef and in-house sommelier, guests are guided through a 6-course menu paired with six wines and local olive oils. A wine list is also available, from which guests can choose a wine to accompany the 6-course menu.
