Rive Fish & Faible
From the outside, the restaurant looks like a futuristic yacht that could start sailing off at any time. Inside, the modern space is elegantly furnished with dark wooden floors, neutral tones and stylish yet comfortable chairs. While munching on chef Felix Dietz’s fish-based creations, you can enjoy one of the city’s best views, overlooking the Hamburg harbour and the Elbphilharmonie. If the weather allows for it, you can also wine and dine on the sunny terrace.
Rive Fish & Faible’s cuisine
At restaurant Rive Fish & Faible, chef Felix Dietz only works with the best products. 85 percent of his ingredients consist of fish and seafood that are, as much as possible, sustainably sourced from certified aquacultures, and freshly caught in the region. For lunch, the chef and his team prepare more than 10 menus, which you can order as a “speed lunch” (2 courses) or a “relax lunch” (3 courses). For dinner, you can either order dishes à la carte or opt for the 4- or 5-course dinner menu. Expect delicious options like baked haddock with dill mustard pickles, green apple, and Petrossian caviar. The restaurant’s extensive wine list, with outstanding wines from all over the world, will surely make for an excellent food-and-wine pairing.
Restaurant Rive Fish & Faible is located in Hamburg, Germany’s second-largest city. Being home to one of Europe’s biggest harbours, Hamburg has been called the "Venice of the North. You can walk along its lovely waterways and canals, or hop on a Venetian gondola to sail along the river Alster. Three of Hamburg’s most popular sights include Miniatur Wunderland (model railway and miniature airport attraction), Port of Hamburg (seaport on the river Elbe), and Speicherstadt (the Merchants District with its characteristic red-brick architecture).
