Restaurant Gellius is located in the historic town of Oderzo, Italy. The town center used to be a notable crossroad in the Roman Empire and is known for its fascinating archeological ruins.  Some main sights and landmarks that are worth a visit include the Piazza Grande, the Duomo San Giovanni Battista Oderzo (impressive cathedral with works by Italian painter Pomponio Amalteo), and the archaeological area of the Roman Forum (with the remains of the basilica and a wide staircase).
