Allan Castellote is owner and chef at restaurant Le Senso. After his culinary education at Ecole du Cordon Bleu in Paris, Allan worked with Michelin-starred top chefs like Yanick Alléno, Christophe Moisand, and Alain Dutournier. Next, chef Allan decided it was time to move back to his hometown. In 2013 he opened restaurant Le Senso in Beauvais, together with his brother. Here, he conjures up contemporary French cuisine, drawing inspiration from foreign classics to which he adds a modern twist.

With a great eye for detail, chef Allan Castellote presents the most creative dishes. He works with fresh, seasonal produce and local producers, which allows for an authentic and generous cuisine. Restaurant Le Senso offers a mostly seasonal lunch and dinner menu that varies per week. In addition, they also serve a 6-course tasting menu. Expect simple yet delicious dishes such as the salmon skewer with satay, arugula, and yogurt sauce. Whatever you choose, make sure you don’t miss out on the chef’s specialty: kouign-amann (Breton cake, also known as “Europe’s fattiest pastry”). Good to know: vegetarian and vegan options are available upon request.
