INTENSIVE COURSE IN VITICULTURE, WINEMAKING AND TASTING!

La Rioja Alta SA, our partner who participated in the JRE Sommelier Award 2022, invited 5 nominees for the award for a visit and a very interesting wine programme.

Monday July 18th till Wednesday July 20th La Rioja Alta SA invited Barny Tailor from The Dysart Petersham in The United Kingdom, Grega Repovž from Gostilna Repovž in Slovenia, Hans-Jörg Unterrainer from Kirchenwirt Leogang seit 1326 in Austria, Heike Philipp from Restaurant Philipp in Germany, Marjolein van der Ham from Orangerie de Pol in The Netherlands and Thomas Manser from Truube Gais in Switzerland.

They visited the vineyards in Rodezno, the winery in Labastida and Roberto Frías (Agricultural Technical Director), Julio Sáenz (Technical Director) and Gloria Carrero (Tutor at The Wine Studio) told everything about La Rioja Alta SA during different modules.

In between the tastings they visited some nice places around and received Hans-Jörg Unterrainer his Sommelier Award 2022!
