Respecting local tradition and produce, Simon makes sure he takes advantage of using local produce, Soller Prawns, a highly thought after island delicacy, Bio Dynamic Arbequina Olive Oil, Flor de Sel salt flowers from the nature reserve of Es Trenc to name just a few. Wine lovers can look forward to excellent local wines from small Wineries including the Bio Dynamic Wine selection from the Can Feliu Winery and the Organic/Demeter Fera Brand Son Naava wines.

Simon brings together the heat and passion of the Mediterranean with the soul of Asia. Before joining Fera as Executive Chef and partner the Carinthian from the village of Eberstein in Austria has worked with several star chefs. Among others, he worked for “Paco Pérez” in the Miramar restaurant (**), as well as in the “Alkimia” with Jordi Vilà (*).

Cuisine

Fera’s Borderless Mediterranean-Asian Cuisine is inspired by Executive Chef, Simon Petutschnig’s love for Japanese flavours along with the rich source of seasonal ingredients found in Spain. Fera is an interactive journey of Simon’s culinary evolution where texture, flavour and ingredients are paramount. The exclusive menus offered, as well as the a la carte menu, welcome our customers. Fera’s wine list is carefully hand-picked to emphasise wines that communicate a sense of quality and authenticity.

The Location and Space

You will find Fera, hidden in a spectacularly restored Old Town palace, down a cobbled street in the centre of Palma and just 2 minutes away from the shopping mile Jaime III. It opened on the 24th of October, 2017 and is owned by Sheela and Ivan Levy and Simon Petutschnig. Their aim was to create a space that had a sense of welcoming warmth, aesthetic art and design, uncompromising service and exquisite gourmet food. Fera offers not only a feast for the stomach, but also a feast for the eyes with an art collection ranging from sculptures, photography, paintings and large-scale site specific installations all carefully curated. The bar with its old stone arches, chandeliers and view overlooking the charming garden provides a perfect retreat for a pre or post lunch/dinner drink.

The gorgeously warm, charcoal and white library, is best for small private dinners and fits up to 12 comfortably,
