Restaurant Besta

At restaurant Besta you will find a gastronomic crossover between Catalonia and Galicia. Here, Manuel Núñez, a Galician chef based in Barcelona and co-owner of restaurant Arume, teamed up with his partner Rocío Rodríguez and Catalan chef Carles Ramon to create a gastronomic proposal that appeals to the value of their origins. At the core of their culinary ideology you will find the quality of the product, sustainability, diversity of influences, and lots of expertise from many years of travelling the world. The result is a unique dining concept that draws food lovers from near and far.

Unique location

Restaurant Besta

Besta is rooted in a very personal connection between Galicia and Catalonia. The company is based on two main pillars. On the one hand, the emotional proximity based on the origin of the partners (Galicians who live in Catalonia, and a Catalan who lived in A Coruña and was influenced by Galician cuisine).  On the other hand, the pantry provides a sense of physical proximity.

Besta’s cuisine

Both chefs use a seasonal product calendar from each area, which is mixed and expanded with more diverse influences based on their travel experiences. This way they can increase their creativity and not just focus on a particular region's gastronomy. The regional market cuisine is based on a changing and rotating menu. Dining is offered in such a way that the diner comes each time with the idea of experiencing what is being offered at that exact moment. The result is a unique one-time experience of exploring and tasting dishes based on seasonal products, in a relaxed and elegant atmosphere.

Barcelona’s surroundings

Restaurant Besta is located in the heart of Barcelona, one of the largest metropolitan cities on the Mediterranean Sea. On walking distance from the restaurant you will find many interesting sights, such as Antoni Gaudí's renowned unfinished church La Sagrada Familia, and the historic Bishop’s Bridge. Outdoor lovers can go to one of the many beaches to go swimming or sunbathing in the beautiful white sand. You can also rent a boat to explore more of the coastline. At night, the city offers many clubs for an unforgettable night out in this dazzling city.
