Restaurant Meisenheimer Hof

In the historic town of Meisenheim lies restaurant Meisenheimer Hof. This cozy inn welcomes its guests in a historic ambiance with reinventive haute cuisine. Here, chef Markus Pape serves the finest local Palatinate cuisine. You can enjoy his fine dishes in the dining rooms, which all have their own theme: the Jägerzimmer, the Brunnenstube and the "Zur Blume" dining room, which will take you back to the 18th century. The Meisenheimer Hof even has its own winery and makes for an intriguing mixture of the historical and modern, both in the restaurant as well as in the themed guest rooms of the adjacent hotel.

Meisenheimer Hof’s cuisine

Meisenheimer Hof is a restaurant with its own winery. Because of this, guests can enjoy the wine in the special wine bar "Zur blauen Meise" or even in the "Grotto", the wine cellar where all the bottles are stored. One floor higher, chef Markus Pape serves the finest regional dishes. Guests can expect delicacies like traditional liver spaetzle from Glan cattle, or calf's head with bergamot foam and wild black pudding. Vegetarians will be happy here as well: if you prefer a meat-free meal, ask for the Erdesbacher. This is a delicious bulgur salad with goat cheese, avocado and soy. No matter what you choose, you can expect the finest regional products, prepared by a world-class chef. Needless to say, each dish can be perfectly paired with an excellent glass of wine from the restaurant’s own winery.
