Alexander Herrmann

Alexander Herrmann is the owner of restaurant Posthotel Alexander Herrmann. He was born in 1971 in Kulmbach and studied at the hotel management school Bavaria Altötting. Afterward, he trained as a chef in Nuremberg and did internships in Belgium and Germany. The Posthotel in Wirsberg, which has been in the Herrmann family since 1869, appointed Alexander as its head chef in 1995. He joined the Jeunes Restaurateurs Section of Germany in 1997, and was its president from 2007 to 2010. The celebrity chef has been on many TV shows, such as  "The Taste" in 2013, "Aufgegabelt" in 2015, and BR television show "Stadt, Land, Lecker" in 2017. In addition to this, he has written several books and runs two restaurants in Nuremberg: the Imperial by Alexander Herrmann and the Fränk'ness, which is situated on the ground floor of the same building.
