After completing an apprenticeship in Falconera's restaurant in Germany, chef Marc Joshua Engel traveled to Asia, Australia, and New Zealand to broaden his culinary horizons. Back in Europe, he continued learning under chef Markus Arnold in Zurich. Several years ago, he realized his goal of opening a restaurant in the vineyards of Lake Biel, together with his partner Cynthia Lauper. Aux Trois Amis restaurant is a dream come true for them. With his passion for quality, chef Marcus always strives to deliver the best gastronomic experiences to his guests. He values experimenting with new techniques and aims to expand the culinary landscape with new interpretations.
