Ambassador 2017

JRE is the biggest association of chefs with Michelin Stars in all Europe. It is also an association of young, dynamic, forward-looking and united chefs! JRE was created in France in 1974 by the greatest French chefs of the time, interested in training a new generation of chefs and providing them with the means to make them GREAT. Nowadays, this is one of the main missions that chef Yannick Alléno has taken on - to sponsor the JREs in France. And we are proud of it!

Today, Chef Alléno is one of the greatest chefs de cuisine in the world. Attached to the territories, and very innovative in his approach to flavours (with origins in a modern, restyled cuisine, he is particularly famous for revolutionising sauces), Yannick Alléno perfectly represents the JRE values defended in their Manifesto: respect for culinary traditions, respect for the product and its origin; constant evolution, passion for cooking, and a search for perfection. Today, at the age of 46, the chef, with many Michelin Stars, runs 16 restaurants all over the world, including Alléno Paris - Pavillon Ledoyen, and 1947 in Courchevel's Cheval Blanc. He was voted Chef of the Year 2015 by the French guide Gault & Millau and Chef of the Year 2015 by the very prestigious Andrew Harper. Finally, he will also receive an award for his work in Alléno Paris in the Pavillon Ledoyen, just seven months after the restaurant was given three stars by the Michelin Guide.

Yannick Alléno has chosen the JREs in his commitment to help young chefs further their search for perfection.
